Stationary Box is made of Burl Walnut and opens to reveal fitted compartments, and a royal blue moire silk lining inside the top with original lock and key. The base of the desk set is sitting on 4 turned feet supporting the dovetailed drawer and then above this has two fitted areas that contain 2 original glass inkwells with hinged brass lids. The is a brass presentation shield and there is an area in the front to accommodate pens.
