This scale measures approximately 18 1/8 W x 7 3/4 D x 16 1/4 H
The case is made of polished mahogany with lacquered brass hardware and ivory handles. The balance has 5 1/8in beam, to carry 2 grams in each pan & turn with 0.1mg.
The beam is divided for the use of a rider;double rider-slide; and plate-glass to bottom of the case. Also included is an original set of inAssay weightsin in a round black case. The balance is in very good condition, with minor discoloration to the black finish under the plate-glass base.
